2011 Journey of the Azkaleros- part 4

This year has just been amazing for the Azkals. They had so many games and we were so fortunate to have witnessed their games here in the Philippines live in the Rizal Stadium. Every game that they played here was just unbelievable. It really did not matter if it was a win or a lose, just the fact that we were seeing our national team play and to see all the fans screaming and cheering was an experience in itself. I am very grateful for the Azkals because I have met new friends and that means a lot to me and to the whole group. We did not only meet each other but we also met different people in the Football world that we admire and look up to. We became friends with some media people, some football players and a lot of fans. We became really good friends with some of the players such as Ian Araneta and Chieffy Caligdong. Yes, they are my favorites and I am so proud of their achievements this year. I want to thank their families as well for welcoming us and becoming a part of our family. Thank you to Sir Dan Palami who we call "Itay" for being so kind and patient with us. Thank you to our "Manager", Cedelf, We love you! Thank you to all the people and friends we met this year! We hope to have a wonderful year ahead of us! 2011 thank you and 2012 Hello!

2011 Journey of the Azkaleros- part 3

National Sport Grill (NSG) was our home during the games that were played abroad. We would always go to NSG to watch the games live on TV or even games that were tweet casted. The atmosphere and the crowd in NSG was just fantastic. Everyone would be screaming, standing on tables and chairs and jumping up and down everytime someone would score a goal. I loved those times because football fans would come together and bond. We met so many people during theses games such as the Kaholeros and other fans as well.

One thing that the azkaleros also did this year was guest in a few tv shows. We were first featured in a show in Balls Channel. After that I and a fellow Azkalero was invited to be part of the panel of the show called The Bottomline with Boy Abunda when Phil Younghusband guested. We were also Featured in the show of Jessica Soho on GMA where we were able to share our love for football. It was awesome to have done those appearances because we were able to share our love for football and try to get more fans to watch and learn about the sport that we loved.
